Director of Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Full- Time, Days

We are looking for a Director of Talent Acquisition to join our Human Resources team in Albuquerque, NM.


  This full time job is located at   Lovelace Shared Services:  Organizational support departments for all Lovelace facilities including Coding, Finance, Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Marketing, and the Resource Team. Director of Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
 

  • The Director of Talent Acquisition, is responsible for leading all aspects of Recruitment strategy, delivery and performance, working in partnership with our recruitment services vendor, HR business partners and hiring managers throughout all levels of the organization.
  • Responsible for providing direction to our recruitment services vendor in the implementation of proactive talent acquisition strategies to source, screen, select and onboard top talent across a diverse multi facility operation.
  • Works with management to understand current and future workforce needs. 
  • Assesses external labor market conditions, develops the most effective, economical and appropriate recruiting channels and methods on a national scale.
  • The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for establishing consistent recruitment and onboarding processes for the division. 
  • Key responsibilities also include organizing, analyzing and reporting on staffing activity metrics or new program features. 

  Director of Talent Acquisition Education and Experiences Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, Business Management or related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in using ATS and HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft, Taleo, HealthcareSource, Lawson required.
  • Proficiency with use of calendaring software, including MS Outlook to manage complex scheduling.
  • Embodies creativity and innovation identifying talent through multiple sources: networking, social media, job fairs, community events etc. Demonstrated expertise in the areas of sourcing trends using the most current social media and technical tools & strategies.
  • Maintain focus on delighting the customer/client that ultimately translates into assisting the operation is providing a superior patient experience.
  • Treats others with dignity and respect and promotes a culture by valuing individuals and their contributions.
  • Ability to identify performance gaps and recommend process and other improvement interventions using Lean or other process improvement methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in the redesign of a talent acquisition function from a decentralized multi location system to a centralized with successful quantifiable outcomes. 
  • Demonstrated expertise in the areas of sourcing trends using the most current social media and technical tools & strategies.
  • Draws upon wide range of professional and business relationships for help and support in achieving individuals and organizational goals.
  • Strong relationship building with both internal and external customers.
  • Organizational skills, time & strong project management skills area key to success in this role. Must be productive, efficient and able to simultaneously juggle multiple demands and client groups.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, process management, administration, hands-on execution, time management and information management skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations and regulatory standards
  • A minimum of five years of experience in Talent Acquisition/Staffing in a complex, high volume environment; Strong experience in full life-cycle recruiting.
  • Healthcare experience highly preferred.
  • Experience in HR operations and/or staffing analytics.
  • Experience utilizing structured candidate assessment methodologies and tools (i.e. – behavioral based interviewing, blitz interview events) for candidate selection.
  • Experience in working as part of a business team to achieve positive outcomes in human capital and talent acquisition.
  •   SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred
